We build websites for local businesses in Charleston, Summerville and Mount Pleasant. Fixed prices, no hourly billing, no surprise invoice at the end. And every site comes with something no other web company around here offers — each month we tell you what Google says about your business, and what ChatGPT says about it.
Three pages, properly built, working on a phone.
Adds online booking, which is the whole point for most local businesses.
Hosting, unlimited edits, and both audits. Cancel any time.
When someone needs a dentist or a plumber, a growing number of them now type the question into ChatGPT, or read the AI answer sitting at the top of Google, and go with whichever name comes back. If your business isn't in that answer, you never find out. There's no report, no missed-call notification, nothing.
That's our own work, not something we read in an article. It's also why we think a once-a-year check is useless and a monthly one isn't. See what the monthly report looks like →
We'd rather sell you the cheaper site and keep you on the monthly plan for years than talk you into something you don't need. If you're not sure which fits, tell us what your business does and we'll say honestly.
For a business whose customers just need to find you and get in touch.
For anyone who takes appointments — dentists, chiropractors, vets, salons, law firms, agents.
For multi-location businesses, and anyone who wants their words written rather than tidied.
Bigger than Premium? Ask us for a quote. A large commercial site, a practice group with a dozen locations, or taking payment online won't fit a package, so tell us what you need and we'll scope it honestly rather than squeeze it into one. Whatever you choose, the price is fixed before we start, and the clock runs from the day you send your content rather than the day you sign.
Showcase discount: half off your first build if you're happy for us to show your finished site here and in our marketing. Rather not? You pay the normal price and get exactly the same site.
We're new. Rather than put someone else's work under our name, we invented three businesses and built each of them a site at a different price. Open them on your phone — that's where nearly all your customers will see the real thing.
Three pages. Someone on the sidewalk wants to know whether you're open and whether they can get a cut today — so that's the first thing on the screen, before anything else.
Booking front and centre, a page for each service, the dentists' own names and faces, and a new-patient form that doesn't ask for anything it doesn't need.
Two locations, prices published on the page instead of quoted once you're in the chair, the products they carry on display, and every word written rather than borrowed.
All three businesses are invented, and each page says so at the top. The pictures on them are illustrations standing in for the photographs a real client would send us. This site, the one you're reading, was built by the same two people.
A website isn't finished when it launches. Hours change, staff come and go, prices go up, and search engines quietly change their minds about you. This is the part most people skip, and it's why so many small business sites are three years out of date.
Free with every build — one month with Essential, two with Professional, three with Premium. Cancel any time with 30 days' notice.
Unlimited means everyday edits to what's already on your site. A new page or a new feature is a separate, fixed-price job, and we'll always tell you the price before we start — never a surprise bill.
One week for Essential, two for Professional, three for Premium — counted from the day your content arrives, not the day you sign. Premium is longer because we interview you and write the copy, and that needs a round of your time as well as ours. If we're going to miss a date you'll hear it from us before you have to ask.
Two people, no office, no account manager, and we've built the pieces we use over and over. We're also early and we want the work — we'd rather have twenty happy customers on the monthly plan than six expensive ones. The honest version: the build roughly pays for itself, and the monthly plan is what makes this a business.
Sometimes not, and we'll say so. Send us the address and we'll look at it properly rather than guess. If the site is basically fine and the real problem is that nobody can find you, replacing it won't fix that — and we'd rather tell you than sell you something.
Yes. The domain is registered in your name from the start, and if you ever leave we hand over the files. Nothing is held hostage.
We'd scope that separately rather than fit it into a package. A shop isn't a website with a cart bolted on — there's sales tax, shipping, refunds and a support burden that never really ends, and we won't put a fixed price on one before seeing what's involved. If you only want people to see what you carry and what it costs, the product showcase in Premium does exactly that with no checkout, and it turns out to be what most people wanted.
Usually. Tell us what you're on and we'll check before you commit to anything.
The site stays yours and we'll help you move it. You lose the hosting, the edits, the two audits and any rebuild credit. No fee, no fuss, and 30 days' notice is all we ask.
The two of us. Vexen is Trevor Atkins and Ellie Rogers, here in Summerville — no subcontractors, no offshore team, and no account manager between you and whoever is doing the work. More about us.
Tell us what your business does and what you'd want a website to actually make happen. If we're not the right fit we'll say so rather than quote you anyway.
