Vexen builds websites for local businesses. That's the whole company and the whole product — there's no account manager, no sales team and nobody taking a cut in the middle. When you email us, one of us reads it, and it's whoever is actually doing the work.
Runs the business side, scopes projects, and does the monthly visibility work — the audits that tell you what Google and the AI tools are saying about your business. He's the one you'll speak to first.
Designs and builds. Comes from a marketing background, which is why the sites are built around what a customer is actually trying to do rather than what looks good in a portfolio.
Because you'd find out anyway, and because it's the reason the pricing works. No office lease, no overhead, and the two of us have built the pieces we reuse on every project.
It also means we're honest about capacity. If we can't start when you need us, we'll say so rather than take a deposit and leave you waiting. And if what you're asking for isn't something we do well, we'd rather point you elsewhere than learn on your money.
You may come across the name Maple Bean Marketing. It's a separate company with the same two owners, set up for social media and marketing work.
We're not taking that work on at the moment — websites are the whole focus, and we'd rather do one thing properly. If you're a client and you ask, we'll give you an honest answer about whether it's something we can help with or whether you'd be better off with someone who does it full time.
